Aviation Maintenance

Dan serves as the Repair Station Training Manager at JAARS where aircraft and technicians are prepared for operations in North Carolina and around the world.

I like flying, but I really like a good electrical project! I’m happy to work in the JAARS Repair Station with an amazing team of technicians. As the Repair Station Training Manager, I ensure that our technicians have the proper certifications, experience, and training for the work that they are being assigned. In addition to meeting FAA requirements, I’m working to develop programs that will allow new mechanics to quickly gain the experience they need before being accepted for full time service with JAARS.

At the end of the day, the real satisfaction for everyone working in the Repair Station is seeing the aircraft we maintain being used for ministry. Whether it is routine maintenance or complete rebuilds we love to see them fly away. If you are ever in the Charlotte, NC area, let me know, I would love to show you around the hangar!
